DaNelle started to take an interest in a healthier lifestyle after suffering from two debilitating chronic diseases. On a mission to create a farm of her own, DaNelle forced, or rather 'lovingly persuaded' her husband to purchase a ranch home on an acre of land and transform it into their very own urban farm. DaNelle blogs at Weed 'em & Reap where she writes about the sustainable backyard farming, traditional food, & natural remedies.

I’m on this same path of switching to traditional foods and loving all of the learning, reading and experimenting! Here’s a link for my favorite pizza dough that is soaked! Plus you get to make extra and freeze dough for later which makes it super easy to whip up a pizza at any time I LOVE IT! Oh and all of the recipes I have tried on her blog so far, 5, have been awesome!

Love so much what you are doing! It thrills me to see young moms taking this road. Teaching my children healthy eating and how to prepare their own meals has really paid off with my 5 kids. They are now all adults, love to cook and prepare meals at home every day (except when eating out on special occasions. Consequently they have always been healthy and the dinner table has always been a positive experience that we look forward to daily. Keep up the good example and the hard work. “No success can compensate for failure in the home” is such a true statement! Thanks!!!
